Carrie recently completed my PhD in sociology at the University of Colorado. Carrie's dissertation and previous research examine the contributions and limitations of existing programs and policies to improve food security and promote sustainable agriculture. Much of Carrie's work has focused on the global south, specifically Latin America. Carrie worked on food security projects in various capacities before returning to graduate school, including as a Peace Corps volunteer in Peru.
