Young learners
Our team uses three primary strategies to reach young learners.
We are coordinating with outreach and demonstration sites, such as Biosphere 2 in Arizona, which hosts 110,000 visitors per year. Updates from Biosphere 2 can be found here.
Our team is collaborating with the St. Louis Science Center, the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, and the University of Arizona’s Flandrau Science Center to create experiential learning opportunities for museum visitors.
In addition, we also work with agricultural summer camps and school programs, like Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom, the University of Arizona’s Community & School Garden Program, and Tuscon Unified School District’s Food Literacy Lab.
