Jinwook Kim

Postdoctoral researcher, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

Jinwook Kim (JK) received his B.S. in Agronomy from Iowa State University, an MSc. in Plant Breeding from Wageningen University in the Netherlands, and a Ph.D. in Crop Science from University of Lleida in Spain. He conducted his postdoctoral research in crop physiology at the University of Guelph in Canada and is currently continuing his postdoctoral research at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His interests lie in source-sink dynamics for crops, as well as phenotypic plasticity in response to environmental changes. His primary focus in the Agrivoltaics Project is how the presence of solar panels affects the source and sink dynamics, subsequently impacting crop yield and its components.

Jinwook is a graduate student working with DK Lee.
